The added bonus was having access to great coffee and some croissants throughout the day. A big shout out and note of appreciation to Jodi. She gave us the best recommendations and was always going the extra mile. I would recommend the resort to anyone who is visiting the islands. Read less

We came to T&C for a Liveaboard SCUBA trip. We arrived a few days early and stayed at Ports of Call (POC) Resort (booked directly w/POC). Price was the best for us. Once we got here, we realized the ROI! ~ $33 by shared taxi for me and my husband from the airport ~ Complimentary drinks🍹 ~ Pool and bar area are very well maintained and great atmosphere (I’m writing this from the lounge chairs) ~ Room is comfortably spacious (especially with 4 bags with SCUBA gear 🤿 ) & was ready early. It has a small dorm-like/square refrigerator, coffee pot (you can ask at the front desk for in-room coffee supplies), desk w/2 chairs, TV (never turned it on), bathroom with overhead rain shower head. ~ POC has a dedicated beach area 🐚 across the street at Grace Bay (BEAUTIFUL BEACH). Lounge chairs are already set up with umbrellas. ⛱️☀️ ~ POC has attendants at the beach if you need anything like drinks at the bar at the hotel. They have life vests for you to use with their paddle boards and kayaks. 🏄 ~ They offer a large golf cart shuttle if you don’t feel like walking to the beach. 🚷. We’ve been to beautiful beaches like the Maldives, but this beach is the best! Crystal clear water and white sand! ~ breakfast is offered until 10:00 AM with cereal 🥣 , fruit 🍌 coffee ☕️ juice 🧃 cold cuts, cheese 🧀 toast, and they indicate at least three mornings a week with hot options (we had eggs 🥚 and bacon 🥓). Water and coffee is available throughout the day. ~Tap water is ok to drink here in T&C. We brought water 💧 bottles. ~ Bar has Happy Hour and events each night. We really liked the local Turk’s Head beer (buy one get one half off - typical Happy Hour on the island) ~ POC has souvenir shops 🏬 , restaurants, jewelry 💍 store, ice cream shop, coffee and pastries cafe. If you didn’t want to explore, you could stay at POC! ~ we walked 30 minutes to Provo’s Thursday night fish 🎣 fry. We ate dinner at Mr. Groupers instead of standing in long lines at the booths. Lot’s of vendors with many of the same souvenirs. ~ we forgot our ear 👂 drops. There was a dive shop a few blocks away, but they were sold out. Lo and behold, there is a grocery store a block from POC!!! It was beautiful! Fruits 🍎 veggies 🥦 fish 🐠 meat 🥩 wine 🍷 and beer 🍺. POC has a BBQ area! ~ POC is a small resort, not like a Ritz-Carlton (down the street). It is a gem 💎 in paradise 🏝️ Read less

We wanted something that was not all-inclusive, but still had breakfast and was close to the beach and restaurants - so this was perfect. We had a balcony room - really comfortable and very clean. Aircon was excellent, so was the ceiling fan. Room had a fridge. For me there was a bit too much light pollution in the room at night - but I know that’s very personal. WiFi was poor on the balcony and in the pool / bar area, but good in the room. All the reception staff are very efficient and courteous but no one was particularly friendly - they weren’t mean or anything, just never very happy. The exception was the young guy with glasses and beard, he was really friendly, chatty and generally great. For us he was the standout member of staff. None were terrible, but he was the only one who was friendly, every one else is quite stern. Eg when you walk past reception he actively says good morning etc - everyone else ignores you unless you want them. Breakfast is perfectly adequate - over the week the hot choice alternated between scrambled eggs or waffles & sausages. For us there was plenty of choice and it was decent enough. There are a few restaurants nearby. The closest is a Tex Mex called Skull Rock approx 20secs from the front door (it’s Tex Mex, absolutely not authentic Mexican) but there are a few to choose from. Don’t get ice cream from Giggles in the same complex unless you want to spend $27 (and up) for 2 ice creams. The supermarket is opposite the hotel driveway entrance, about a 3min walk. The beach is less than 5mins walking, we didn’t do the shuttle but there is one. The hotel has sun beds and parasols on the beach. They will provide you with beach / pool towels. They also have one of those contraptions with big wheels to help the less mobile in and out of the water - we didn’t need it but I really liked that they had it. We walked to Coral Gardens and back twice (1hr each way easy walk - go via the beach, the road way is not great), the third time we got a taxi there and walked back. Absolutely do not use their recommend snorkelling tour company (it’s not them, they just recommend them) - they were awful, book your own Read less

The front desk were helpful and friendly. Two staff members that we met were the manager, Taiwane and Jodi. We had some minor issues and Taiwane took care of us. The manager’s party was fun and always good to see Watson, the bartender who has been there for several years. Although, we did not use the pool it looked very inviting. The beach is beautiful and the beach staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend this resort. Read less
