The hotel

Using minimalism to maximum effect, the sculptural ice-white architecture and matching monochrome interiors of Óleo Cancún Playa give it a calm chicness that’s a far cry from the buzz and colour of your setting — right at the start of the famously vibrant Cancún Hotel Zone. The dedication to ‘white’ is only really interrupted by flashes of blue — homage to the sea and surf just steps from the hotel. Located in the Cancun Hotel Zone, on a ribbon of shoreline tucked between the Caribbean and Nichupte Lagoon. A short distance from major shopping centres, restaurants and entertainment. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

Superior Sunset Rooms overlook the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupté lagoon with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Superior Ocean Front Rooms with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

The Junior Suite Sunset offers a wide space with minimalist decoration. The sofa bed fits 1 kid up to 8 years old.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Óleo! We visited the Japanese restaurant to celebrate my birthday and Crispín and Maya made sure I got a birthday dessert and felt very celebrated 🥰 Thank you to the staff who made our trip wonderful!

Everything in this restaurant was nice great service. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.Francisco Mesero and Bernai performed a show for us with fire and made such a delicious meal. I totally recommend eating at this restaurant…..

In addition, I have to mention two other staff members kevin and maurico were very attentive, kind and efficient. The rooms where stunning, clean and had Amazing views. There was so many different options for food. The pools had a lovely few overlooking the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would book this hotel this hotel again without hesitation. I had an amazing time here! Everything was so beautiful and the staff were the nicest people ever. Everything is kept super clean and the ocean was crystal clear. All the bartenders and waiters were incredible. Crispin the chef at Hakka was also so hospitable!
