What an amazing resort! This was our first trip in 10 years and it did not disappoint! The food was wonderful, rooms clean with a comfy bed, and the beach view from our room was perfect. Chris at the Piano bar made our trip so much fun- respectful, kind and made fantastic drinks! He went out of his way to make things wonderful for us! Highly recommend Sandals Negril. Read less

Can’t beat the location. Walk-out room is as advertised being a few short steps to the beach. Small pool is a great option if you’re looking for something a little lower key than the activities at the main pool. The latter does have a swim up bar which we loved. Staff is outstanding. Shout out to Chris who tended bar at the small pool. Try the Crazy Chris. Very refreshing. Chris also makes the best Pina Colada on the property. We would definitely come here again. Read less

Where do we even begin… Sandals Negril has been a dream ! I was lucky enough to win a competition for a holiday of a lifetime so my partner and I chose to visit a sandals resort as this is something we will never get to do again. We didn’t really know what to expect due to never experiencing a holiday so expensive and only being 20 and 22 but it exceeded every expectation! We were lucky enough to have a two week stay but we wish it was longer! We stayed in the lower level room (paradise premium) which is absolutely perfect for us! We didn’t want a fancy butler room as we knew we would rarely be in the room. It was cleaned every day and nightly turndowns were completed. The room came with a mini fridge which was restocked every day and robes also. We want to take time in this review to show our appreciation to the entertainment team who made this trip extra special! The teams vibes and personalities were contagious you couldn’t help but smile when they were around. Each and everyone of them took the time to learn our names, say hello every morning and even take time to play games with us. Tommy taught us how to play dominoes and would always say hello in the evenings and sit and talk or play cards with us and Odane took time to play another new game for us called corn hole. They are all so talented and this really showed in the evening main show presentations, all exceeding expectations! During the day they were present for activities by the main pool always getting people involved and having a good laugh. So Tommy, Ashli-Ann, Lady Bleu, Brii, Odane, Chevy, Prince and the visiting supervisor Rouse you were all amazing and were the highlight of the trip! Next I want to give a special shout out to the culinary team and the meals! I am coeliac so require a strict gluten free diet and I was very nervous about eating at an all inclusive hotel, but I had no need to worry. Upon arrival I visited the culinary desk where throughout the stay three amazing ladies (Daneika, Renae and Anne-Marie) helped me every day. They spoke me through the menus for each restaurant and pretty much everything was either naturally gluten free or could be made gluten free for me. I would go to the desk when they open at 9am and pre-order all my meals for the day (some would find this annoying but I didn’t mind at all as it put my mind at ease) and they would create a meal plan which is then given to the chosen restaurant. Every time we went for a meal I just said I had a meal plan and only my partner would order with the waiter as mine was all sorted beforehand ! It was amazing and waiters remembered us and my need for gluten free from the start. Continuing with the food at the resort being gluten free the buffet breakfast was the only part I found challenging to navigate. I got told to ask the chefs who were about in the mornings but they didn’t help at all, so I just stuck to the safe options of fresh fruit, smoked salmon and an omelette freshly made in front of me. We would pre-order the night before so I could have a gluten free breakfast at Barefoot which was amazing. Every morning pretty much we would be seated by Daynia or Paulene who remembered us every morning and made it such a lovely experience. Lunch again I just stuck to the safe option at the Perla restaurant or chips and dips and the waiter there was incredible also. Sundowner was hands down our favourite for both lunch and dinner! I would get a gluten free BLT for my lunch option and again Daynia was always around to help. At dinner Dwayne would be there most nights to seat us and make sure my meal plan was handed over. He always took the time to talk just like every waiter on the resort. Brava was also incredible! Majority of the menu is gluten free so I had no problem ordering here and the team (Shavelle, Adaina, Alison and Tony-Ann) were so lovely. Throughout our stay the Epix photo team took photos at every opportunity! Sasha was the main lady for our photos and she was amazing, not one bad thing to say. She was a proper hype lady who captured some incredible photos. Jhevough also was amazing taking some brilliant photos but also being so friendly and speaking to us whenever he saw us walking around. Carlos also captured some incredible sunset pictures for us and was so friendly. The only downside to the photo experience was coming to buy them as they are so pricy and due to winning this holiday we have very little to spend. We had 300+ photos taken and 100 photos is $610. We had to narrow our options down and when the numbers got lower and lower the lady helping (I didn’t catch her name) whole attitude changed and she appeared to be fed up and rushing our decision. We ended up getting 4 digital photos for $80. We made sure to make full use of the water sports included and the guys at the aqua centre always made sure we had a good experience. It’s so easy to do you literally show up say what you would like to do and you’re good to go. The kayaks were our favourite and the guys told us about a group of sea turtles that live in a particular spot near the hotel and we would visit every single day and see them every single time it was amazing. The glass bottom boat tour is also a must and the snorkelling was amazing to experience. Also make sure to go tubing on Big Mabel this is so fun and it’s nice to not get thrown in the water! Every single staff member that was on the resort was so lovely. My partner would walk around in UK football tops and so many staff members took time to talk to him about the different UK teams and what the scores were (all of them are so interested in UK football!). We would always get a hello for passing staff and we literally couldn’t fault any of them. Everyone always looked busy and the resort was very well kept. The beach was amazing and the sunsets even better. We spent everyday at the main pool due to preferring this over the beach. The main bar had great service and there was activities every day! Our only complaint (or area of improvement), for the is whole of this holiday would be the pool often appeared dirty with dead flys bobbing about. The shuttle to and from the airport was also organised by Sandals and was seamless. We are so sad that our trip is over and would love to return it’s just so expensive but definitely given us something to work towards! A big thank you for everyone making this trip so special! We had a swim up room with butler elite service. It was well worth it and i was pleasantly spoiled by Roy and Odane. They brought me my drinks, set up my beach chairs with a cooler and towels. Made all dinner reservations and walked us to dinner every night. The food was excellent. Beach was clean and easy to walk on. I thoroughly enjoyed this resort. It is a smaller sandals but perfect gor what we wanted. Staff were awesome and rooms very clean and well kept. I would definitely return. Read less
