If you like the sound of an adults-only, all inclusive, beach boutique break, then The Abidah by Accra should most certainly be on your wish list. When you arrive, you're greeted by the swishing palm trees, a warm Caribbean breeze, and stunning views of turquoise waters and white sands. With so much to do here, you'll be spoilt for choice on the daily. And in the evenings when that sun sets, head to one of the many restaurants for some good food, or head out to Oistins nearby to try its famous fish fry nights. However you choose to spend your days (and nights!), you'll relax into the Barbados way of life before you know it.

Where is it

Located on the south coast of Barbados, within close distance of Oistins. Enterprise Beach is a short 2-minute walk away. Transfer time from airport: 10 minutes.

Hotel information

43 rooms and 1 suite on 4 floors. All with a private balcony and spa pool, air-conditioning, smart TV with cable channels, WiFi, tea/coffee maker, mini-fridge, safe and hairdryer. Island View Rooms are located on the first and second floor, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: daily breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. All house beverages, wines and cocktails. Dine around programme at the sister property, Accra Beach Hotel & Spa. 

Ocean View Rooms are located on either side of the hotel. These spacious, premium rooms offer views of the ocean from the balcony, which also has a Spa pool. 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults

Complimentary self-parking. Complimentary shuttle to sister property, Accra Beach Hotel & Spa.

Remous restaurant and lounge (serving traditional Caribbean favourites and International dishes). Daily afternoon tea. Full poolside/beachside service and mobile bar. Dine around option at the sister property, Accra Beach Hotel & Spa, includes 4 dining options (Sea, Fire & Salt BBQ dinner, Pacifika Kitchen, authentic curries at the Curry & Kebab night and Accra Deck), a complimentary shuttle is provided. A Tourism Fee will be charged per bedroom, per night and will be collected at check out. The rate is subject to change by the Government, and varies by hotel room. Fees currently range from 8.75 Barbadian dollar (approximately £3.90) to 35 Barbadian dollar​ (approximately £16.00) per bedroom, per night.

Dress code: elegant resort wear is expected from 6:30 pm in the restaurant.

Booked in here for two weeks for my 70th Birthday. It's an adult hotel and not big with just 44 rooms. The bedrooms were huge and a jacuzzi in the Balcony. We had some issues with our room . I think the maintenance should be looked into. Just Little things would be easily rectified. We were here on All Inclusive, and you couldn't fault the food ,there was always a great choice. The Hotel is four stars ,so I was surprised to see there were just local drinks and no premium brands. Couldn't fault the staff were excellent and well mannered . Got to give a shout to the Barman Anderea and also young Tre ,He will be a great asset to the Hotel, A really nice helpful Lad. As it was a small hotel, We met a lot of the other Guests. Who were a pleasure to chat with. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. And wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. Read less

The staff are friendly and attentive, I'd name names but would hate to leave anyone out! The food was superb! Buffet breakfast, buffet lunch with lots of variety and a la carte dinner. The beers are cold, cocktails are strong and the wine is pretty good. The place is very clean, pool area is great. Never a struggle to find a bed. Sunbeds are also available at the beach, just across the road and beach towels are readily available. The area is pretty quiet mostly, but it's just 5 mins walk into Oistins for the Friday fish fry or a bus further up the coast. I can't wait to go back Read less

A la carte was a first for us, normally have buffets inc in all inclusive, this has completely changed our mindsets!! Loved every meal, the fact we spoke with the chef most days made it all personal, checking in with us, those personal details are memorable!! The reception team always attentive, welcoming, helpful and courteous…. Nothing was too much bother! The bar staff, knew us, knew our drinks but I cannot not mention Andreah; he went over and above on every shift, that man has a huge heart, a fab smile and skills behind the bar!!! He is a huge asset to the hotel!! The restaurant staff,; always smiling and attentive, every task and chore was finished with “you’re welcome”…. They are all amazing!!
